I'm in need of help. I have 16 eggs not hatched. I see no movements, no chirping, no egg movement (except the little ones already hatched and playing)
I've made sure humidity is staying between 75-80, temp is 99. I've seen one internal pip. Time to assist?

You're right it doesn't run away but sometimes it runs in circles and tends to bite.

Too many unknowns for me to say.
1. How long has temps been at 99? Seems low
2. How long has humidity been at 75 to 80? Seems high.
3. What were the air cells like at lockdown.
4. When were they due to hatch. I'm assuming it's past time due to the others that have hatched.

Current weather, 59F, dewpoint 58F 97% humidity. It's supposed to dry out a bit as it heats up.
I'm going to an herbal infusions class this morning at Cheryl's Herbs.
Herbal Infusions
This class will incorporate the use of Medicinal Herbs with our oils. We will make some herbal infusions that you will be able to use alone or with essential oils in some other products.

I will be making a bumblefoot treatment of Calendula, Echinacea and Hypericum. I have a rooster with a persistent case.



Whatever works for you. I just figure they've been hatching chicks without human intervention for millions of years.
I put broody hens and their eggs in their own apartments with fresh bedding food and water. I sometimes don't check on them for days at a time and then only to peek in the window to make sure there is still water.
If it is cold, they may come off the nest once a day for about 15-20 minutes but will skip some days. If it is hot, they may come off for a couple hours a day.
They know what they're doing.



Do you have a Premier catalog? They send them to me all the time because I bought a couple of their brooder heat plates.
I helped a friend install the same system you have. It works well for them.

THE fox? As in singular? Don't they have brothers, sisters, a mom a dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, offspring?

So did you class go well? It sounded interesting. I am going to go to a workshop on small ruminants put on by the university extension office on September ninth in Ava. It is going to cover among other things, nutrition, integrated practices for parasite management, what's to have and not have in your tool/med box, recognizing and reducing diseases, and a section on conditioning for breeding and breeding. For thirty five dollars it is a day affair with lunch. I hope it is as informative as it sounds, and is not just basic fluff.

Well, I fail as an ultralight backpacker, in fact I fail just in battery packs to run my camera, phone, MP4, and fake go pro alone

It is a good thing I took the weight back off so with my pack I am lighter than I was
