Why would we euthanize a duck that's fine hanging out in her little pool just because she can't walk?
She's not suffering. Unless she's suffering, why would I euthanize her? I have the room to keep her. It doesn't bother me, and the kids like the excuse to feed her from a bowl. Now that she can't get away, my daughter's very content to go out there every day and feed her by hand, that's just the kind of my 6 year old is. lol
We wouldn't eat her - so her death would be just because I didn't want to take care of her, and she's not a problem.
