Mike, I've been meaning to tell you that I love your avvy. That dog is good looking, from any side. Love the markings. I've always loved this doggy.

That would have been quite hilarious! Lol! It's very good you did not get run over, Mike.
I have it on good authority that it hurts A LOT when a person gets run over by a full grown sheep. Once upon a time I had our dogs at a sheep herding clinic and one ewe got antsy and bolted for the door. I was sitting directly in her path on a chair so I stood up as she launched into the air trying to clear me. I managed to grab her around the neck as she hit me. She dragged me for several feet but I did not let her get away.
Um, yeah. I probably won't do that again.![]()

I don't do meters, but it's 4'w x 4'h x 8'lWhat is a cord in cubic meters?
Thecnicly it could be what ever you decide, but it want change the reality that middle of night is not morning.
Metres = yards, silly. Surely you know them?I don't do meters, but it's 4'w x 4'h x 8'l
Nope! Inches, feet, and yards were good enough for this country's founders 250+ years ago; they're good enough for me. And don't tell me about being the only country not using metrics, or that metrics are more accurate; I don't give a rat's a$$ what all those other countries do, and I ain't building rockets or watches.Metres = yards, silly. Surely you know them?
Is that how it works. I never knew what an "exact" cord was. Obviously we haven't used that means of heating...lol.You're gonna love this..
The cord is how wood is bought and sold here.
Generally it is 4x8 ft and 4 ft high. It has to be stacked so there is minimum amount of air space.
We are talking fire wood, saw logs or pulp wood. There is a lot of "horse trading" involved in wood sales. When selling I think I am too good at stacking and need more air holes, When buying I know he could have stacked better..
The best part is most people just look at a pile of unstacked wood and say that's X number of cords.
I was saying metres are equal to yards to try and make understanding Benny's question easier. Sorry.Nope!
