EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

thank-you for your advice yesterday. The membrane stayed moist with the Vaseline and 6 hours later the yolk was absorbed. the chick was wedged in its small shell so tight in a bad position it was unable to open it's own shell so I did have to help it out. I'm pretty sure it has wry neck and it's having trouble balancing . But it is looking soo much better already! I really appreciate this page and everyone's wisdom :p !

Found the link I was looking for: http://www.theeggfarm.com/blog/2011/11/02/wry-neck-in-baby-chick-video/

Well I know it needs vitamin E but i'm not sure from what source. (like a human capsul or do they have a poultry one?) I also read something about maybe splinting the neck but I haven't.. so i don't really know.. do you??
I don't know if this is available in your area but it is loaded with Vitamin E

Isn't that a pie?
And a cupcake! :drool

Not at the doughnut shop I worked at when younger.
You didn't work for my grandfather in East Liverpool. He died making the doughnuts.
School hasn't started there yet? You all start late!
Normal people (NY, NJ, New England...) start the first Wednesday of September, have a mid-winter and spring break, get out mid-June, and don't let upper classmen out early because they don't have tests. Nor do they have stupid laws about the lunchroom, let smart kids do half days (Not that I wanted to stay the whole day. I just thought it was sad that the schools didn't offer a better education). Ohio and Pennsylvania are weird. :D
I've seen truckers doing it also. Or at least texting. Really scary when they are weaving
It's scarier when you're inside the truck!
Back to the grind. This wood is gonna kill me. Another cord coming later today.
:duc

Sometimes I wished I had it. Many chicken articles use it but I just turn them back off.

It's not that hard to get. :lau

When I got my new phone back in Feb., I never loaded it or FB messenger onto my phone. Every once in a while I'll log into it, like a bunch of people's dog pic, congratulate people on the shows, etc. Somehow about 1/2 to 2/3 of my FB friends are women in other countries. :lau. to clarify Icelandic Sheepdog owners/breeders.

No, not your grandfather's, a friend's family owned a doughnut shop in Cleveland. There is nothing normal about people from NY, NJ, or New England states.

I'm sure it is. At least in a separate vehicle you can somewhat move out of the way.
Father in law had a donut shop as well. Fun to visit but would not want those hours.
