I still say the WHEY is what saved Harmonys old Blue brahma hen that was on her death bed!! Feeding it in the waterer to them!!!

Pure protein she is up and walking and normal just like that! we should bottle it up and sell it as a chicken product lol

3 seasons ago, we milked our nannies for our neighbor friend who was recovering from kemo. It is high in nutrients, her doctor recommended it so we did it for a month for her after the kids were weaned.

Yup! I always say to people "I didn't like goat milk or cheese, but this woman said that all milk is different..." Yada yada. I totally remember you saying that.

and what is fed to them and the milk must be cooled quickly after milking. it makes a big difference. It was really cool having gotten into milk testing and talking with the local tech that does the milk farms. He is filled with info for me. pretty cool stuff to learn!

We have been buying 50# bags of soy beans. Crock pots run 24/7.. A supplement feed for our feeder pigs. They turn into moosh after 12 hours of boil. Anyway, we have gave a taste or 2 to injured and sick birds along with vitamins and electrolytes mixed into the moosh.
The birds recover much much faster with the high protein booster.
