EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

"In the United States, partial hydrogenation has been common as a result of preference for domestically produced oils. However, since the mid-1990s, many countries around the world have started to move away from using partially hydrogenated oils.[46] This led to the production of new margarine varieties that contain less or no trans fat.[47]

The United States Food and Drug Administration ordered in June 2015 that almost no trans fat could be added to food in America after a three-year grace period. Steven Nissen, the chair of cardiovascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic said "in many ways, trans fat is a real tragic story for the American diet, In the 1950s and '60s, we mistakenly told Americans that butter and eggs were bad for them and pushed people to margarine, which is basically trans fat."[48]"
It is partially hydrogenated, so it means that it LESS sh....y?

I have seen car before. It has a dent in the front right fender. Just wait till I see them again. It won't be a rubber chicken that hits them! But it will be stiff after I catch that little.....,......................

They smell?
Just like chickens. You have to pull maintenance. But chickens walk, Peck and nose thru their waste.
Pigs excrement is always in the same spot and far away from their food and shelter.
If you don't clean up after yoir chickens, it ia the same scenario for swine, horses, goats, turkeys or anything with an exit hole in their bum.:lau
It takes seconds to rake, scoup and haul pig manure. If you stay on top of it.:woot

Give her a chance & she'll also eat an injured piglet..HER OWN
I had a couple that wanted to savage a few of their own piglets. One killed a piglet and ate all the legs to the knee joint.:sick Not much different that a hen that pecks and kills her chicks. Unfortunate though.
I found a pic of one of my sows! That was a while ago. :love
