I use the Brinsea Octogon 20 Advanced with all the bells and whistle to set it and forget it. The Brinsea mini are pretty easy to. Then my didn't even know I set it and don't have to do anything is broody hens. That's my favorite.

I so wish I would have upgraded to the Advanced model when I initially purchased, but I was a newbie back then and wanted to "see how it went." Ahh well, live and learn. I do have the mini advanced, and like that, but need something just a little bigger.
I wish I had a broody hen! Unfortunately all the girls in my current flock are too busy lazing about in the sun to even be bothered to start laying yet. Freeloaders, I tell ya. Maybe once they finally get to POL, I'll get lucky and one of them will go broody on me.

I also have a hovabator which works fine, have to pay little more attention to it than I like though.

we have a 0% hatch rate last 2 batches. they all died. we put them in the bo fire with the others. kumbaya we sung. We have 96 dozen eggs the generator is chilling... .. phone dont ring no moe.

Irma killed my babies. obviously. I figured out its not nice to fool mother nature. still no power for incubators, only gererator power to keep humans alive.

i handed off my meat freezers today to save our reap. bbq polar bear smoked with pecan wood beats the peanut butter and jelly sandwich i had for dinner.

when the refer compressor turns on, the tv shuts off. i took a bath in 3 day old bath water and scoup the scum water out to flush the toilet. living large baby! today the county came to look at the blockage on the roads trapping us in. he hopped back into his aircondition vehical and went and had lunch

the county got the power on for country club of ocala, around the corner from here. 3 million dollar homes. and we cant get anybody to clear the trees so we can drive to survive. i wish we would have bought a home on the golf course in the woods instead of a farm in the woods.
