EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Im having a time getting my tiny bearded d'uccle chicks water and feed small enough. I'm managing but there's got to be a better way. Anyone know any posts about the smaller bantam breeds and feeding?
So far I've mixed gro gel and smashed the crumbles up. Along with regular methods. But some have a hard time swallowing.
For the first week of feeding my tiny ones, I pulverise the crumble on pulse setting (food processor) over and over until I achieved the desired texture. Not too big but not powder.

she lost her husband to lung cancer.. bob looks out for her even more now. she is in oklahoma rite now. our road is blacked out and our dogs are on high alert
I don't remember if I've already said but I'll say again if I did. . so sorry for your losses and stress. Sounds terrible. Hope things will keep getting better for you

I use pelleted feed, which is, obviously, too large for newborns. I put it in the blender, dry, and it came out about the consistency of sand. About 2 pint canning jars worth, & they were big enough to handle the pelleted feed with no alteration.

Gosh that awful sure how you guys are sleeping. Maybe not.
Sleep with sheets stuck to you like fly paper. Heat index at 96 and humidity cranking. No air blowing. Laundry done in 5 gallon buckets. Smelly situation. We have 5 layers of sheets on our furniture so our funk doesn't taint the upholstery. Locker room smell. Could be worse. We have a roof thank goodness.
Dogs are trained well. They only bark when somebody is near late night/early morn. If they bark longer than 2-3 mins, there is mischief going on. Bob is up with a tactical light mounted to the pump. First shot fired in 10 yrs on the last scare the meth head away trick. I miss air condition. So so much. I miss or street lights we mounted just as much.

Banster is in Alaska watching the whales. ;)
No ma'am you are not quite correct.
She is not watching the whales she is hunting them!
(so kinda watching them)
