Morning folks! Chickens are still molting, but should be done by mid-October. Haven't gone down yet to feed, but during the day I encourage them to wander the garden and catch late peas and some of the cucumbers I left out there so they're usually not quite ravenous when it's bright and early. Relaxed kind of day today, starting with fresh-ground coffee. :caf

Ugh, remodelling. I've done enough of that to do me two lifetimes. A relative bought an older home and we did the tear down and most of the finished product. I am NOT laying any more linoleum or digging/screeding cement. Don't make me.

Asbestos is for insulating qualities? Was there much of that your way? I know it's been used here.o_O

Reminds me that we begin demolition on the land in November-December. Husband has a love-hate relationship with demolition, likes that he doesn't have to do fiddly things but hates that he's messy and tired and cut up after.
