See how they form and extend my calves? Note how defined my legs are with them......

interesting!! thanks!

what are your thoughts on castor oil do you use it for suds or no, if so what percent is safe without getting the soap sticky?

do u use sugar at all? if so ratios? and in lye?

@hippiestink

I've never used castor oil before but from what I hear: in cold process soap, castor oil is typically used around 2-5% of the total oil weight. Using more than 10% can lead to a slightly sticky bar.

I use a single teaspoon of sugar per 2 pounds of soap and it makes bars a little harder and less slimy/sticky, though if you have a high superfat and a big percentage of the soap is olive oil then it'll be sticky/slimy no matter what you do. I also use salt to harden bars as well as CPOP.

Always add sugar or salt to lye water, preferably while it's warm but not freshly mixed. I always use sea salt but as long as it's not fortified with iodine you can really use any kind of salt. If using clay as a hardener that gets added at trace or (in HP soap) at vaseline stage.

Incidentally I'm at work on a spa soap with Dead Sea clay and salt with spirulina. It'll be a hot process soap and I'm really excited to see how it goes.

you didnt move them around? could be the cold
Could be the stress.
Mike/Sally, Bird blocked the ceiling off and now the are perching on the 4 twelve perches instead of just using them for a ladder to get to the rafters. AND changed positions of the egg boxes.. They are made at me.
Define "cold snap" ??? And prepare to be laughed at...
Ralphie, Hmmmmm, cold snap, my definition? When somebody posts a pic of newborn chicks and someone coldly snapps a crack that if they were dux, the look better if their faces under water... Burrrrrrrrrr.. that was a cold one baby... :lau That was Winter Warlock stuff...:old:lau:lau:lau:lau
