EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

It's really a sourdough kind of smell. If you don't do that either, just think yeast.
Put some feed into a bucket.
Fill the bucket with water enough to cover the feed.
Add some Braggs (or Heinz if it's with the mother). There is no measurement. If it's a 5 gallon bucket (oh! This is a yeast product! Only half fill bucket!!) you want about a quarter cup.
Stir twice a day. Add water as necessary to get it all wet.
There is a dry FF that doesn't need straining, and wetter that you want to strain at least some. It bubbles, so I like to watch it, and laugh like a child.
I suggest wetter until it's fermented the first time. It takes several days to ferment (you can feed from day one though). The bubbles let you know it's done.
No more acv is needed. You can stir once a day, or every other day once the fermentation has happened.

I think Sally has an article somewhere on the no-strain kind.
