I have thought of making a "cooker" for soybeans. But not worth the effort with the stuff I get at Fleetfarm.

I get 32% protein Calf Concentrate I mix it 4-1 with corn...( I know some of you will faint and a flock nutritional supplement (vitamins and minerals) So I get 250 pounds of feed for 23 bucks.

Baby update: he's sleeping longer now, though i suspect in a couple days he'll change his schedule on me again. I've successfully gotten him sleeping in the crib after the four days in a bassinet at the hospital. Tomorrow and Monday are both Husband's days off so we'll see how well he does with his first day of being home all day with the baby and I!

The sun came out here the other day and it slipped above freezing and I had 8 squirrels in one tree!

I snuck a window open a tad and loaded a 22 to surprise them...BUT they never came around once the window was open.....WWD was not home, Her and I have differing opinions about shooting out the windows.....

Of course, her opinion is wrong.

If you need to wet a particular dirty spot, a little spit and elbow grease should clean it right up.

I have to say... I keep the environment clean, use gloves etc but I’ve never cleaned anything off my hatching eggs! I suppose I should get any nasties off. What is the safest way?

Spit on the egg and use your jacket cuff to shine it.
