I just want to pour water in her boots. You wished her whole state to flood. Tsk! Tsk!

Swimming lessons were finally paying off.

My rain gauge only holds 5" at a time. I dump it everyday. I needed a 10" rain gauge a couple times.
I got down on my knees and prayed every night for the rain to stop. Or for at least only 1/2" a day, not 5 everyday.
6 newborn piglets were found in the muck when the water finally subsided. Follow the flies, the flies don't lie. I guess they can only swim so long before they go under. 3 Days later, my Buck became sick. Now the rains are gone. And so is my Buck.
The paddocks are still like quicksand in the low areas. And several trees up rooted and collapsed.

So when I say we have had our share, I'm not exaggerating.
So when I hear others are getting hammered with rain, I feel your pain..

I was in too much of a hurry to wear gloves. I think it took three days to wash it off my hands. I went back to my Harley lotion water proofing after that.
Dad always liked Sno-Pruf. I don't use any of them; I use rubber boots...rubber leaves no human scent like leather does.
