I really wish to understand what you are talking about ....
Don't understand nothing about horse breeds. ....
you have been given great answers but i would like to add to it a little.... see my post lower

that looks similar to my weather this week :hit

Thanks
Another question: you said " smooth-riding saddle horse" are there rough riding saddle horses? If yes, way bother to raise them?
yes, different job

He claimed the Dux bucked him off, I think he fell off because of his drinking problem and how much dandelion wine he had consumed...
LOL, but dandelion wine is so yummy!!!

I thank you both. Is racing horses like the thoroughbred , or the Arabian horse are considered smooth riding?
at a gallop a thoroughbred is very smooth, at a trot not as much, same with the arab
it also depends on how well trained they are and how they carry themselves. i rode a thoroughbred that was amazingly trained with a super-smooth walking-on-water-trot BUT i have also ridden a thoroughbred that had the most godforsaken bumpy trot i have ever tried to sit.

muscle definition, the fit of the saddle, the rider and their knowledge of the sport and the individual animal can have a big difference. Depending on how one sits on the horse can change how the horse carries itself

So basically it is more a question of training ( of both the horse and rider) and equipment , then the breed.

Not really, Both contribute to the ride though. Some breeds are smoother. Some not so much..

In my view, the best riding horses I had were those I broke and trained myself. BUT I think that is just the horse and I being well acquainted with each other. On a horse like that the horse senses what you want to do without any real input given to the horse.

I can see you just need to get a horse and find out for yourself.

It is quite interesting, I rode only once or twice if I remember correctly. But not much!

Someone offers to buy 4 of my 2 years old BPR hens and 1 Partridge rock hen for 200$. you think I should sell? It is even before me advertising.
I would sell in a heartbeat if I were offered 50 for all... don't know what the market is like there, though.
