I think I posted about this here a while back and promised to show the finished project. My dad's quilt got done just in time for Christmas Don't mind the date and "wonderful" recording job. My son recorded it for me on his new GoSo (generic go pro) and didn't set up the date and time first lol.

!3*F this morning, which is 14 degrees warmer than yesterday!

i'm jealous, says 4* where i am currently but i dont believe it, it says its -7* at my house
and the weather chill today slooks like it is taking it down another 14*

We have now 19.5 C.

Don't you hate it when buyers think you must be some sort of moronic idiot (and think they are so smart).
Presumably your add states the price you are selling them for.
I once had some idiot want 20 cream Legbar pullets for $5 each.
Another person purchased 30 4 week old chicks for $5 each, and did not pick them up till they were 17 weeks old due to "moving house" and then complained that half were boys. This person is on BYC as well!!
I am older and wiser now...

They do it to me more than DH. It's Sexism, trying take advantage of a woman thinking we are inferior and easily persuaded.
DH took over the calls last night when he came home. I am GOOD COP, HE IS BAD COP.
It is fun to listen to him talk to the hagglers. He uses speaker phone so he can multitask. I crack up badly in the background.
Last night some guy wouldn't accept DH'S reply price so he kept haggling and in the end when DH was getting aggravated and short with him..the guy said sorry that's a little bit too much more than I intended to pay... and DH says "my feed cost were a little bit too much more than I intended to pay so should I stop feeding my pigs????"
They want to buy our entire stock so THEY CAN PROFIT from the shortage down in South Florida.
He told another caller "people don't profit off my losses! my losses go into my 7 freezers. What's in your freezer? Not my pork... Happy New Year!" BUB-BYE..

Is it bad I'm already planning what I'm going to get as far as chickens go? I'm not even sure when I'll be able to do it and I'm planning what to get. Which may or may not include geese and turkeys. I blame the Mini Monster. He's got a cold and I've been trying to get him in a better mood. Grumpy, sick 4-year-old is not fun. He wanted to look at the ducks, then the turkeys, then the geese. All I can think is 'Well, my grandmother DID have Toulouse when I was his age and I DO want turkeys...'

Why you have to do all this talking? Say the price for 1 pound of live weight and that is all. Take it or leave it.

They eat so much! So fast! We had a flock untill recently. We processed some, sold some. I keep 3 for pet novelty purposes. When they got older they became aggressive during feeding anything around them. Just sold the last 3 not long ago to make way for my duck adventure. Turkeys were fun. I had one I named Blue, she followed me everywhere. Broad breasted bronze.. HUGE.. Really didn't want to part with her but did.. If we do Turks again, won't be that type. The male can't mate naturally. The boys get like Dolly Parton real fast..lol..

They don't except my answer. I turned off the ringer yesterday. I am not aggressive like my hub. I am too nice I suppose. They are desperate to buy to make their sales before dec.30th. Pig roasting is a tradition with the Spanish population that took over South Florida. They are scouring the state to fill the demand. Our locals are selling out. We don't feed contaminated dog food etc. We eat what we raise. I'm not eating no dog food pig..

You have to be Aggressive if you want to keep your sanity. I don't have the patient to stupid people that think that I am stupid.
