Thanks!I don't know how you guys deal with that stuff. Hide indoors from freeze... I am an outside person. This morn, entire property blanket white. 19° at 6:30 am. The pad lock on our gate had to be heated up with a BBQ lighter to melt the iced locked lock. How can I get my chores done wearing the Michelin Man costume? I feel bad for the folks getting hit by the blizzard up the east coast.
Ron, the milk snake looks like a king snake.
Good frozen morning everybody... from the no sunshine state.
This website says that maryland has milksnakes and another that is similar:Didn't know milk snakes frequent this area, either. Thanks
It's strange that in 70+ years, the vast majority in MD, that I've never before seen one. This website says that maryland has milksnakes and another that is similar:

They say 2 more nights.. lost my 7 year old pineapple plants last night. Lemon and lime trees are damaged. Lost zero water pipes.. left water running a little all night.
Jack Frost is a Jack _ _ _
Oh well...
It was that 3" of rain we got that froze us out.
First time in months I am inside the house this early in the morning..
Would it be feasible to spray them with water, like Florida orange growers do, to keep them from freezing? The ice that forms insulates the fruit. You need to get a hardier variety of Pineapple tree. Mine are all doing fine today and it is a lot colder here than there...
I am worried the banana trees are going to wilt and die, so I am going to water them today, the natural water is rather hard and not so good for the trees.
Seems to be universally agreed upon that soft water is better for plants.I am worried the banana trees are going to wilt and die, so I am going to water them today, the natural water is rather hard and not so good for the trees.
