Good morning Mike!Good morning everyone!
Snow is almost all melted, it's a muddy mess.
Good morning everybody! It's hard to believe I really haven't been on since the beginning of December, other than the few birthdays. Wowsers.
I skimmed to catch up. Hopefully, I didn't miss much. A lot of crazy weather everywhere it looks like. And lots of snow. We have almost no snow here. And it's been above freezing here for the last few days. I think this week is only supposed to be down to -7C in the day. It's been beautiful after that terrible cold at Christmas.
Things have been interesting.Thanks Wicked!
I hope things are going well for you.

Hubby presented with a large blood clot (over an inch) in his superior mesenteric artery (abdominal area) in the beginning of December. He was VERY fortunate, we got him to the ER and caught it before it did any major damage. He's still alive...lol. He was in the hospital for that week. He's on blood thinners and we've been to appointments and seen more doctors than we care to see...lol. We're still awaiting a further test on whether he is showing a false positive or a blockage in his heart. I'm trying to keep him from doing things where he can end up bleeding to death.

So most of December seemed to be eaten up with all that excitement. I cut the tip off my finger making the Christmas meal.

We've also shipped our calves and vaccinated both the cows and the replacement heifers. We're trying to get our farming inputs booked for this coming year before the prices go up. And the lack of snow cover may have killed the fall crop we planted.
Dh's mother presented with a possible DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and we took her to emergency and for tests. This week she tripped and broke her hip. Thankfully she required only partial replacement. She's been transferred back to the local hospital. We may have to head to the city to obtain appropriate items to help with her mobility.
But hopefully, I can keep up with the few threads I follow.
I've missed chatting with everyone.

Hopefully, things can stay calm for a while.
