EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Don't think they are dead, scratch one of the branches and see if it have a green layer underneath the bark.
They will come back. They froze 3 yrs ago. Nice root system. We are trying to keep them wet.
Ours had about 6 we used some for cooking with fish.
We used ours for that but prefer our limes. They didn't get as damaged as our lems. I will miss the convenience of grabbing them just outside the front door.. Thought I'd share this here: the barley train is back in full swing! You are the only member on BYC I can share that with! lol.

:) I have a hatch on lock down right now. Small and simple. Due Sunday. Stupid chicken math..

Just thought I’d catch up it’s been awhile! I’m definitely in hatching withdrawals. But, my last group of babies (the Halloween hatch along) are doing so good! I have 3 gals who will be going out this weekend. A silver Mille bearded d’uccle, a lf frizzle tolbunt and a smooth.
I also hatched a micro silkie serama, who you nearly need a microscope to see! And her buddy Boo.

The camera angle on the top one reminds me of the mushroom clouds over Hiroshima & Nagasaki

WAKE UP, y'all. There's a whole new year out there. Wonder what the death toll is in Baltimore & Chicago already.

Oh dear no!! Contrary! That is my first frizzle hatched who is a Pullet. I was thinking I was doomed to never have a frizzle. Her crest is crazy, as anything and I’ve already had to cut it back. Poor Muppet couldn’t see a thing.
