What’s the lemon to vinegar ratio? Certain surfaces here wouldn’t be safe to use it on but the floor and perhaps windows would.

No secret, just good genetics and excellent conditions!
1. Minimum numbers of birds
2. A lot of space
3. 50% fermented feed
4. Fresh salad every day
5.3 time a week extra vitamins
6. Extra fresh water.
The genetics needs the optimal environment to be expressed.

Come feed my junk PC females and see if they grow pretty feathers.

This bird is supposed to be a brown and black version of your pretties. As you can see there's no pencilling at all on her. I like her type though.

I really don't mesur, I add , I think 100 ml for 2 liters so it could be a 1/20 ratio the vinegar will prevent it from going bad . It will be good for ceramic floor and counters, diluted with water will be good for glass surfaces.

I'm working on the better stock thing. I had a really nice pullet from the same breeder, but I lost her to Marek's or something.

She was the first and only bird I have lost to those symptoms. Everyone has Marek's in their flock, it's only a matter of if it expresses or not. I have under 35 fowl total right now, and 2 coops totaling 192 square feet of space. I think I have enough room.

It could have been Botulism too from something she noshed on in the woods. No way to tell now, she's been dead and decomposing since last September. Symptoms were leg paralysis and lethargy that started with a limp on the far side. Vitamins did not help.
