I had to turn on the air conditioner last night. I just couldn’t take the heat in the house!

Wow you’re having a heat spell and we are back in the 40’s for night time and mid 60’s for days. Today is supposed to make it to 75 but from here on rain and cooler.

Anybody out there still hatch under a broody anymore? I stuck 6 potentially fertile eggs under a broody a few weeks ago & I'm having trouble finding info on what to do if they accually hatch. So far everything I've found is incubator related or dealing with assisting. Does anybody know of a broody 101 link???

I don't do anything, the hen does it all. Some people separate out. I've never found a need for that.

Same here, 71 now, rain and cooler weather is on the way. Taking a little break then heading back outside.

It was too warm even with windows open. The one side of the house is an oven on warm nights.
