EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

That's the only one Dad ever had 'til both his boys left home; he bought a power mower when he had to mow his own frigging grass. He only wanted the grass mowed every 2 weeks, even in peak growing season, so that old reel mower was definitely over-matched, but he didn't care; he didn't have to use it most of the time.

That's what my maternal grandfather had. We didn't live close, but some of my other cousins did. It seemed every one took turns when I was there. He had about 5 acres where the house was. A lot of it was garden and a small Pasture to raise meat. Out in the country he had more acreage for raising pigs and things like potatoes.

I recently found an app that lists local people that will take care of dogs. Some people charge $20 per 30 minute visit, and more if it’s a holiday.
If you have free time, you can make a lot of money being a dog walker/boarder in your home or theirs. The app is Rover.

I can board my dogs for less than that per day.

wazine is worthless. Ivermectin should be used. It attacts all aspects of parasites/worms. wazine is not broad spectrum.

OR oral. You can ball up a slice of bread and squirt it into the center of the bread ball. But you will have to be certain that they don't take them away from each other. Feed separately if possible.
I assume these are feeder pigs for human consumption. I would not use wazine on feeder pigs.
Also don't inject anything into muscle of feeder pigs.
Ivermectin is the way to go.
How old are the pigs?

My first thought was Ivermecrin, wasn't certain if ok for pigs though.

Dock is in, fishing boat is in too. Pontoon will go in soon.

I can’t. The place 45 minutes from me has a ton of acreage, and the owner is on the property, pretty close to the kennels. The small kennels fit two cat carriers squeezed in. $45/day. No walks. An electric door opens twice a day inside the kennel. The dog has thirty minutes on the concrete pad. No interaction from the employees. Pick up and drop off is noon to 12:30 M-F. No weekend pick up.
I met my Rover woman today. She worked with a sister years ago at a SPCA. She seems pretty cool. I trust her in my house. The dog likes her, and she will deal with the flocks if I ask. I already booked her for Christmas. :D She will be a godsend if it’s cold enough for water bowls to freeze.
I might be going to Canton this weekend.

Wow, that's weird. Around 30 minutes from me a vet owned place, she also shows and does agility, is less than $20. Dogs have in and out abilities, are played with, she lives onsite. Two of my dogs earned their Canine Good Citizenship from there.
