If you have one of those plastic (fiberglass?)dog houses sitting around unused, they'll lay in there. If it comes apart in the middle, and either half is upside down, propped against the other. they'll lay in there, too. I have three that like to lay in one of them I set under the coop.

So the Eggs I’m incubating for a friend were stored in his kitchen for quite awhile. They like to cook with onions. The incubator and room now smell like onions. I’ll be candeling tonight

Speckled Sussex hatched end of March have started laying.

Moved my shipped eggs into lockdown.... started with 24 down to 8.

2 silver laced wyandotte
2 Dominique
2 red star
I am hopeful

Of the 8 eggs I started with for my friend 2 are alive and developing. 6 not so much. No surprise there as they were older eggs and he didn’t know proper storage.
