EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

At this time of the year do you guys still incubating? Or hatching through a broody?
A broody can hatch anytime of year, and the babies will be fine.
Some of us incubate whenever the mood strikes us (like when there’s a hatch along to join). It is possible to acclimate the babies outside before the winter is over.

I've been thinking of hatching a few AC eggs I need to start replacing my hens before they get much older.
But I have a heated grow out pen they could use for a sheet time till they are planning to enough for the cold.
I hatched AC eggs in Sept a few years ago and they were able to go out to the regular coop before too Long.... Howdy Banty

Ok so some of us just don't get the memo..... as I prepare to set eggs on Saturday..... ok I may be one of the crazy ones.
Why would you be Crazy.....?.....:idunno
Banty just means crazies by her in Canada.... It's cold early there.... Like that where I live too.
But if a lived a few hours south of here it would be fine this time of year. It could snow here any day..... Doubtful but it does.
