EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Man the life boats; here we go again. Flash flooding. Been raining since last night, continuing through tomorrow, at least.

Same here. I feel bad for the people down in town. The creek is almost as high as it was when the last big storms came through and they thought the dam might break. This rain keeps it up, the water will be that high again or higher by tomorrow, or even tonight.

It doesn't look too bad in the pictures but this is usually a small creek. It's AT LEAST 5 feet higher than it usually is and the wide part there is usually only maybe 10 feet across, not 50-ish

I am always grateful for good drainage around my property. Guess who’s roof is leaking?

Mine, where the skylight was
Our property is flat so it's a swampy mess right now but we're up near the ridge tops so actual flooding isn't something we worry about but 5 minutes down the hill, in to town, they're having issues. Down in Altoona/Hollidaysburg, there are a bunch of roads closed from all this right now :/

My skylight has been leaking for years. However, it’s only an occasional leak, and is on the porch. I don’t care if cement gets wet.
I guess all the roofers are busy elsewhere. I can’t get ahold of anyone.
