We hatched too many birds to sell during the Son & his Fam moving in. Sold a couple hundred and kept about a buck twenty or so. Filled 2 freezers. Swine season over lapsed. Had a sow drop a litter in a flood. Drowned em all. @ others dropped fine. We have a 4 foot deep pond now. Jon boat rides for the grandson.

Just been physically and mentally worn thin. What don't kill ya, only makes you grouchier- ooops that's the ole man's saying. I guess I don't have a saying. That's why I took a little break.

It finally happened , after years of chicken growing, in which I have NEVER lost one, today I have found my first dead chicken, she had some green vomit and green poop, it was fine yesterday . After chking the yard I found this, a young potato seedlings
