EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Yeah, & for the 1st time, too. I've always been able to follow along, but not post from this computer here in the blind. This morning I just figured out how to correct that.Too warm to hunt deer today, anyway; it'd be half cooked before I got it skinned out, & every fly in 10 counties would be attracted to it. I just want to see what kind of movement is going on, if any.

Just a little something to keep me out of trouble when things are slow in here. That's roughly a cord, under a 16'x50" cattle panel. One more to go in front of this one, then both will be covered with a tarp. As the stacks (2 more out of frame) are exhausted, there will be 4 more hoops set up. Counting the 2 already in progress, they'll hold a combined total of about 6 cords. So we'll have "fun, fun, fun, 'til Mama takes our chainsaw away"

The yard is finally cleared for winter. Now I just have to treat 15 birds for scaly leg mites, figure out what on earth is going on with the goats' hooves, start the winter bedding system up, put plastic over windows, and I'll be ready for the real snow. Getting closer!
yuk! but glad you got prepared! I have looked at PAiges hoof and see nothing wrong or her leg but she still holds it up at times. I am at a loss, I think I will soak in epson and see if she has issues inside that gland in the hoof....
