Chick fever is in high gear here. Unfortunately, it's about 20 degrees too cold to ship anything, I'm getting exactly zero eggs (and have no LF males,) and the feed stores aren't in business for a few more months.

I need chicks.

It's gotten rather cold here. Saturday we were supposed to get about a foot of snow, we got a few inches in the morning, then it changed to rain the rest of the evening. Sometime during the night it switched back to snow. That was fun to clean up on Sunday.

It took a while here to break into the cars

I have eggs on the way, hoping they all make it by the end of the week. I am so excited to begin the adventure once again! Hopefully I will be setting eggs by Sat or Sun, if they all get here on time.

Good morning everyone. Bitter cold here today. 1° and feels like -10°. They put schools in 2 hour delay and the cars aren't happy about starting. I haven't dared to venture out to the coops yet but I'm going to have to very soon :/

I've actually started getting a few eggs a day. Although yesterday they were very frozen.
