I was supposed to be getting a second horse this week and it fell through thanks to a 14-year-old girl. I'm kind of relieved but also disappointed. I was stressing myself out really badly. On the other hand, she's a papered Arabian mare that is rideable and the guy was just going to give her to me. His granddaughter didn't want him to give her away, so he made a deal with her that she needed to spend more time with Valentine or he was giving her to me. I still have a chance to get her, but I do really hope she keeps up her end of the bargain at the same time.

I restarted my Breyer horse collection since I'm not getting another horse right now.

A free horse? Why didn't that happen to me? Well, I sort of did once I got married. Back in the 70's my Mother on law had horses. I rode their Palomino ..often! Bareback and up in the Foothills of their town. That mountain was right there. Loved, loved it!

He's not getting grey yet! Smaller dogs..longer life. 10 was always old for my Golden's. You have a cute little love right there. I've always admired him.

I was given a 6 mo old spotted QH colt several years ago as payment for a friend letting his dogs kill the Boer buck I'd loaned him. Colt was totally unbroke, but I got him for my GD, who gentled him into a nice saddle horse. She still owns him 15+ years later.
