What’s with the two tone color? I’ve noticed this on some of the blades on eBay

I needed to wash the background for the 55 gal tank. I like the way it looks on the shower wall.

After waiting a month, I finally got my cooler delivery. I'm quite excited for the weekend so I can start on this monster incubator. I don't intend on building another one for a very long time!
I bought a stc-1000 thermostat to give it a try, because I'd like to mess around and wire a Raspberry Pi to log temp changes. I have no idea how to use it, but I guess that's what Google is for, right?
