EE 11 weeks saddle feathers?

Ive put this bird on here before and most thought pullett. Just wanted to get an update. It’s the boss for sure no crowing but I’m suspicious. Thanks so much!

Looks like a pullet to me.

The wing is in the way and I can't really see the saddle or neck feathers. The comb does have a lot of red in it. Female combs usually turn red right before they start to lay. 11 weeks is a little young for an EE to be ready to lay.

Can you get a natural standing pic? I'm suspicous too. That comb is awful red....

Considering the blotchy coloration and some of the red coming through, and the shape of the tail feathers, I have to agree with the cockerel assessment.

All the feathers I can see are round like a female. If you don't see any pointed feathers on it's back you very likely have a girl. At 11 weeks a male would be pretty obvious, even an EE.

The feathers on the back are unclear dont worry about the crest my ee roo had a bigger crest than that at 4 weeks so the crest doesn't look that big to me

Also the saddle feathers on a roo look REALLY pointy usually, like if they weren't feathers they would be sharp like the ends would poke you if they were hard etc.

Looks like a pullet to me. I agree, the comb would be much more obvious at this age. Saddle feathers should start coming in in another week. Females get them too, they're just puffier and rounded, where the males are slender and droopy.
