If age is unknown, it might be a pullet getting ready to lay, the buff color isnt dark enough for roo coloring, I haven't seen a roo with buff coloring come to think of itThanks. I was afraid of that. I guess I'll keep him until he crows. He may be older than I think, I got him from a lady that takes unwanted chickens and rehomes them. I guess instead of Princess Buttercup he'll be Wesley.
Thanks for giving me hope. I'll keep him/her until s/he lays or crows I guess.
