@fluffycrow
As you have used this term in the past,"I may or may not have just purchased" a few new members for my collection! The Euphorbia got a boo boo on the way home
(you can see the sap leaking on the right branch) so I held her for safety the rest of the way home while driving. (I just can't stop buying cacti and succulents when I see them, I think I need an intervention.

It used to be one plant...![]()
I think they're both getting re-rooted though. If I find a smaller pot, it might like that, but I'll probably just baby it along and hopefully not drown it in the big pot. I think they're supposed to grow relatively fast, that is, if it's not under my care, lol.
Hindsight is my shadow.I regularly beat myself up for not responding to situations that required a different approach. So I get that and I'm sure many of us here do too.
Our minds love to play games with our lives, deep breathing before reacting is usually what keeps us a bit more grounded. This thread is exactly that, a place to share, a place to find empathy and friendship.

For some reason this thread dropped from my alerts, I guess I am too infrequent around here..
So I had to bring my little rat terrior to the vet yesterday for his final appointment, I held him as he let out his last breath then cried like a baby in my truck afterwords.
I was so mad at the vet, she had the nerve to question my decision that was not hers to make, it was hard enough without that. And oh my dog the price! $302 and if I wanted his ashes back another 279
Max was a rescue, I got him from the pound 10 years ago after he had been adopted then returned. He was the worst dog I ever had but I miss him so much.
Thanks Fluffy! Yes I just had to have this Euphorbia anoplia the moment I saw it, I am getting more and more fascinated with Euphorbias! And I just love Mamillarias too.Oh they’re all so beautiful!
The euphorbia will hopefully grow like crazy over the next year!
I’ve kept both of those mammillaria species, though only one (the one on the right) in a pot. Super easy.
The other one is such a gorgeous one, I have it growing outside, and I actually forgot it existed until I bumped into it a few weeks agoView attachment 4228497
An intervention wouldn’t be a bad idea, but I’m definitely not helping! I’m right there with you in this addiction.
Although I will say, please be careful while driving. I hope I am speaking for most in this thread (and on BYC in general), but we would miss you terribly if something went wrong!
The remaining chick passed away. I'm done helping rescue chicks
Thanks Fluffy! Yes I just had to have this Euphorbia anoplia the moment I saw it, I am getting more and more fascinated with Euphorbias! And I just love Mamillarias too.
Beautiful Mammillaria you have there,so tall and colorful! Spinosissima? Gorgeous specimen, it looks so happy!
Thanks for sharing her!
My rescue Euphorbia ferox is pupping and growing like CRAZY! Dormancy, what's that my ferox says?!She's thrilled I brought her home and saved her.
Speaking of dormancy, are yours starting to slow down yet? Some of mine are pretty dormant already, most of the others are slowing down, only the Euphorbia ferox and the Obesa are refusing to rest. I'm sure this new one will join its siblings and party all winter with the growth.![]()
