EE Chickens 24 weeks Old no eggs.

I got my EE's from Hoover's hatchery in Iowa. They all started laying around 20 weeks and they all lay green eggs in many shades.

2 of my flock of EE's just started laying...one at 31 wks (brown speckled egg from BCMaransXEE ) and one (green egg from White AMXEE) at 39 wks! I was prepared for the long wait because of past experience, but yes, it does seem to take forever. I do so love my bearded ladies. I can hardly wait to see what the other girls will give me. The eggs are almost as variable as the chickens who lay them. LOVE IT!!!

I think I win with the longest wait...44 weeks.

But at least I only had her for the last 5!!! Not too bad of a wait, I guess, when you look at like that.

ee's lay late! I think 31-32 weeks here for our last one. Although she STARTED with a jumbo sized! 24 weeks no worries.

my EEs are also from Hoovers Hatchery in Rudd Iowa, and they started laying at 5 - 51/2 months and are still laying now that it's cold and wintery. I have 22 and get 12-19 eggs per day. Don't know if they are all laying or not. Some could be every other dayers, but on the whole, I think they are great! Friends of mine have chickens (not EEs) and they seem to have taken the winter off. I'm glad I'm not dealing with that.

ours also have taken the winter off. Not one egg since November.

EE's first eggs last week at 28w3 & 4 days...still waiting on the last one who is now in her 29th week.

9 months here for my EE Munkadoodle. Which I think is 36 weeks? She also has a Barred Rock coop mate who is also 9 months and no signs or an egg in my near future

EE is still pink, not red at all, and no interest in squatting. But she DOES have a pea comb so fingers crossed for a beauiful colored egg!
