Just a guess..I had two that were yellow like yours. Now, at 6 weeks, they are both a wheaten color. One is lighter than the other. Both very pretty. One of them had a grey head. She still has a slightly grey head.

I had also several that were other colors that turned out to be a reddish /brown color with some barring now that they are older. When they were babies, those were light brown with a chipmunk kind of coloring. I had the most of this type of coloring. (Ones that ended up reddish.)

I had one that was a dark coloring with a black stripe. She ended up being a checkered black and white. I have no idea where the white came from on her now. She looks very cute with her little puffy checks.

i had 6 striped/brown ones last spring, the pretty much stayed the same color, they were all brown, but had different patterns, if it had a stripe on its back when it was a chick, it had a matching stripe when it got its feathers. i thought that it was really cool, you could pretty much tell what it was gonna look like when it was still a chick!

I started a thread comparing chick colour with adult plumage here:

I have one dark solid brown chick (Nugget) who is looking like s/he will become the standard EE colouring (dark gold/black with lacing) and one light chipmunk that is almost developing a blue colouring. One of the chipmunks is almost looking like a barred rock. It is amazing how they change!
