I know that with EE's there are no recognized colour patterns and that you never know what your chick will look like all grown up, but I have two gorgeous little chicks now and I'm not sure what the proper way to describe their colours would be.
Laverne and Shirley:
Laverne seems to be a grayish lavender colour (thus her name) with orange tones mostly on her wings. Her lavender colour is hard to photograph because the orange is such a contrast to it!
Shirley has a nearly identical colour pattern but is a creamy colour instead of lavender.
Also, I've noticed that Shirley tends to keep her tail upright (except in the above picture, haha!) but Laverne keeps hers down more....I know it's still very early (they're not quite three weeks old yet!) but is that any indication of sex?
Thanks so much!
