babyrnlc So, Cindy had full beard feathers at 6 weeks? My 4 EE pullets are 7 weeks old today and I'm only just now starting to see the down go away and feather start to come in.

Here is another of mine, Aunt Bea (from The Andy Griffith show because she is so kind and has the silvery blue hairdo). She is really wonderful and sweet. I picked her after looking through this thread, trying to find a chick with both blue-gray and yellow-orange. She is mottled but this week is now getting a couple of splash areas.

Just hatched yesterday...

Mom is my clean-faced partridge EE, and dad is either a Speckled Sussex or a Colombian Wyandotte. Without calling in Maury Povich, any guesses on who the daddy might be?
