Here is a 3 week pic of the "white dot head EE chicks". I like them very much. They are all really sweet and curious. Only one has very puffy cheeks, two have kinda puffy cheeks, and one of 'em isn't puffy at all.

Here are some EE chicks just short of one month old. They were hatched on June 6, 2011.

One day old. There are 2 turkey poults right in the middle of the bunch.

The ones I kept. Pics taken tonight.

Just had a EE chick hatch just now. Looks really dark, dark color, dark beak, and pretty dark legs. Yellow on the breast and belly. Also had a turkey poult hatched this afternoon. Didn't want to mention that and hijack the thread, but they are from a few eggs I threw in the hatcher on a whim. Have another turkey egg in the hatcher, but I doubt it will hatch.

here are a couple pics of the chick and poult buddies that will go in the brooder tomorrow. Think I'll keep them both. The EE came out of a pink egg from and barred rock mutt hen and an EE rooster.
