Here is our EE Roo-1 year old- we call him Chubby. We thought he was a chubby pullet for sooo long, but then figured out "she" was a "he."

THis is our Old Blackie Hen- she is about 4 now...maybe 3 though. She's a sweetie.

This is our Young Goldie hen-she's a year old now.She's just filling in from Molting, but what a sweet hen too.

This is young Blackie hen-(nice imaginative names-huh?) She is 1 yr old. In the 2nd photo-its blurry, but you can see a bulge on her left leg...that's from when I had to repair her broken leg when she was about 5-6 months old. It worked, but she has a few curled sideways toes. She's just as active as everyone else though. Phew!

Here's my girl, that's her name. She will celebrate her one week birthday tomorrow.

There are some very pretty and handsome chicken on here.

Here is a picture of mystery my EE chicken as deteremined last night on here. Her name is Mystery and she is 7 weeks old now, six weeks in the picture.

If you go to the What Breeds are We? section there is a thread under there title Mystery Chick that explains her story. She was the only yellow chick running around in a box of barred rocks and I asked what kind of chick she was since all the other chicks were black. The store owner/manager told me he had no idea, the chick was just sent as a extra. Hince the name mystery chick!

OK, this ends in 5 days (April 30) so I just want to say:

1) The winners will be announced on May 1, in a seperate thread.

2) Sorry, there's no prizes- if you have a prize you could donate, please PM me.

3) There will be two honorable mentions, a 3rd prize, 2nd prize, and 1st prize.

4) The judges will decide on the winners by voting.

5) Chickens will be judged on sticking to the breed, photo quality, and beauty.

Louie!! I just got him from another BYC member (Spook) and he is such a sweet boy. I carry him around the yard and he falls asleep in my arms.
