EE gender--these aren't roo saddle feathers are they? (MORE PIX ADDED)

My chick is 7.5 weeks old -- I think she's a she, but I'm no expert! No comb development.... but what do think of the saddle area? She's my sweetest chick.... downright affectionate

It does look roo-ish- but EEs can be very deceiving! I love the partridge colored ones

The feathers look a lot like the EE I was convinced was a pullet, until he started crowing.

But the comb doesn't look at all roo-ish to me (smaller and lighter than mine), so you might be safe.

I think pullet. I have one that looked exactly like that at that age. She lays a big green egg.

Gosh I sure hope it's a pullet!!!

If so, then my favorite EE who looks a lot like that will be one too....

We have a curved tail feather or two and the same look. Good luck! Keep us posted if anything changes like eggs arrive or crowing begins.
