The opposite has been true for me. My Avatar (EE also) has been the only rooster I’ve had that would not attack and he’s the only one that was completely hands off by me and my daughters. However, I do believe that it all depends on the bird.That was my fear too. We live out in the country and I’m not opposed to having a roo if he behaves himself. In the meantime, Janis is getting extra cuddles, just in case, before he/she hits puberty. (Does that ever help with softening up a roo’s personality?) In any case, I’ll post an update in a couple weeks.Thanks!
