Are there two definitions for the term "Easter Egger?". Firstly, I have read the EE in post' depicting the breed of chicken that lays green/blue eggs. Secondly, I have read comments that are defining the chicken as hatched around Easter time that is no real breed and only shipped to sell to children for Easter like a sacrificial chicken that will get flushed after the festivities. The reason I bring this up is that I was told that I had a couple of EE's because of the latter explanation and was immediately corrected and said that EE's had green feet. What gives?

EE's are not a "breed" of chicken. They are a mix breed that lays a colored egg. Since they are mixed they can look like anything- muffed or non muff, green legs or not- depends on the mix as to what they can look like. There's a thread in the General breed discussion and FAQ section called "The differences between Ameraucanas, Araucanas, and EE's" This thread will better explain it for you on what is what.

I've never heard of Easter Egger used in any other context.
