EE or Ameraucana?

So I got her at the local feed store, Tractor Supply. She was in a bin with 30 others labeled "Amerucauna".. We got 3 of them.. One passed away last week, and the other is a roo pictured below. Her sister was dark brown and other brown/gold tones, (also pictured below)

and she was light colored

You have a very pretty EE pullet - she does not fit into any of the recognized colors for an Ameraucana.

Yep. TSC does not carry actual ameraucanas and those others are clearly easter eggers.

And mine are pretty, but not best quality. They sure ARE hard to find, though. Mine were from a breeder and are still barely more than EE themselves.

Thank you... I think the stress of laying did somthing to her... Sitting in the nesting box for almost 3days straite, than I found her passed away in the box... Crazy how that happens so fast.
But I'm left with the best looking Roo and pullet

You're so welcome. I'm no stranger to the pain of losing a bird, so my heart goes out to you.

Poor girl. Just like everything else, they can be gone in the blink of an eye.

Really does... But if she is an EE, I'm just as pleased. Got 5 more, hoping for fun color varies
