I got a new rooster a week so back and I'm wondering if hes a EE or an Americana. Hes got the blue leggs and the 4 toes of the Americana but he doesn't have any muffs, but the lady I got him from said some of his babies did have muffs.

Here he is

Easter Egger....his color isn't one of the accepted 8 colors of an Ameraucana, even though he has close to proper leg color. And he looks like he isn't pure for pea comb. His comb is much like most single/pea combination type combs. Handsome boy, though.

Just what she said - His comb looks to have single genes in there, his color is a typical EE color and not recognized, and even though is shanks seem slate - He's still an Easter Egger. Also, he seems to have absolutely no bearded genes in him.

Remember, if someone even spells Ameraucana wrong when selling them - They're Easter Eggers.
