EE or Not?

So we have 2 girls, look identical. They were sold to us as day old chicks as EE. They started laying light tan eggs and I was like darn or EE lay normal eggs. Well I realized a few days ago that they don’t have pea combs like EE, so I was wondering what kind of chicken they actually were.

They are EE, just the Legbar mix one instead of the Ameraucana mix. Many hatchery EE don’t lay colored eggs sadly.
