EE pullets or cockerel

This is my first post and I am new to owning chickens. I have read so many posts trying to learn as much as I can. I have 3 EE's and 3 Black Stars. They have very quickly become part of our family. I am very nervous that our EE's may be cockerell and my children would be devastated as would I. These are the sweetest friendliest of our flock. I need to find out sooner rather than later if they are going to end up Roos. I need to ease the pain of having to get rid of them for the kids. They are just about 7 weeks old now. Is there anyone who can help me figure it out?
