EE Roo? Speckled Sussex Roo?

So, our EEs are 7 weeks and our Speckled Sussex is 6 weeks. I am nearly certain that one of our beloved EEs is a roo and I am suspect of one of our SS--this one is much bigger and comb is more pronounced than the 2nd SS we got.

That would be a relief to our daughter--who is not doing well with her beloved Hopper being a rooster most likely.

You are correct on the EE's. I'm not sure on the SS. My SS is just over 5 weeks and doesn't have ANY color to her comb, and it's much smaller. I say cockerel.

I'm leaning towards cockerel with the Speckled Sussex, that is a big colorful comb for 6 weeks. The first EE is a cockerel the second one maybe a pullet, could you get another picture?

Agreed. I know SS can be hard to sex, but that bird has way too big of a comb for a pullet of that age.
