x2 i don't see the cockerel red that one looks for on an ee cockerel but more of a "messy" red tone of a pullet that should even out with ageRooster red is the color of dried blood. I don't think that's what we're seeing here. To me, it looks splashes of brown-red scattered around on the wing (and I'd suspect on the body as well).
So you can see what I mean, this little guy has rooster red splotches:

Now, the other one... that's a very red comb for 6 weeks of age. If you have a side photo, I'd guess that he has a patch of white on the wing.
Yes he has lots of white on his wings! And yes Ronan (now maybe rita..lol) has red-brown and it does seem to be coming in on her chest as well! Yayyy !
