Yep, which is why I would NOT tell them! Most people have no idea what a bullseye looks like. Most people never think about whether the egg they are eating was fertile or not. But the ones who would freak out over it will only freak out if you bring it up. There is just no need to say anything.
 
Well, as soon as I posted this, of course, my lil guy crowed for the first time today but only because we picked him up to take his picture and he wanted down. Here's some grown up pics of him. I love his spotted chest.





 
EEs do mature late, they are not quite however. I have found them to be as aggressive and noisy as any rooster i have had. spurs really don't show much one EEs until a year or better.
