You would be ok with two Roo's, I had seven at one time with only 30 Hens and I didn't have any issues.

My husband and I are using the BO's for eggs and meat though I would like them to be bred strictly BO's for their size.

Wow, really?! Gosh I hope you're right! I love my EE, and I didn't want her to turn cockerel on me like she was doing earlier!

And here is my 3rd...lol

I was told they are all vent sexed pullets but now I'm a little worried about one after checking it out today.... There is starting to be red feathers in the wings... She said they were vent sexed! WTH???

Is this a pullet or cockerel? I'm leaning towards cockerel? six weeks old.

I'm so happy to have found this thread. I'm starting to suspect that my favorite chicken Margo..may be a Marcus??
It's neck feathers are looking pointy, comb is much redder than the others and it seems to be getting a little aggressive with me. It would always run up to me, hop in my lap and let me hold it..but yesterday it can running up and when I put my hand down it bit me..hard.
