I do know that younger hens will go through mini molts, I'm personally not familiar w a full body molt at that age but others said they have had it happen. I have had younger ones do neck molts, but you had said she was losing tail feathers. It has been an odd molting year, so nothing is impossible.
Otherwise my EE have always stopped laying during the darkest months as well as quitting in the heat of summer without molting.
I would make sure no one is pulling out her tail feathers, quietly observing them for a bit should let you know if anyone is pulling feathers, if not than you can only assume it's a molt. I have learned to expect the unexpected from chickens.
